The Indian independence stepped in to its seventy
three years on August 15, 2020. It its not a largc time in
the life of a nation. Still in thesc ycars there has becn
untraced cnted progress in the ficld of politics, industry,
agriculture and above all, science. Al, irrespective of
caste, creed, religion, language or region are entitled to
equal political right. India has made progress in agri
culture and industry through the successful working
out of five year plans. The various schemes for irrigation,
use of high yielding varieties. of seeds and scientific
methods of cultivation have brought about the green
revolution in India and made India self-dependent in food.
Electrification in all corners of the villages, construction
of high ways and roads and sanitary planning and building
house for the poor have made the life of the people of
India comfortable.
After a long struggle for freedom from British rule in
India, she would reach to her goal at last in 1947. It is our
pride that many patriots have sacrificed their lives in
freedom movement. Now we are face from exploitation
and torture from the British. On 15th August we celebrate
our independence day with various progranmes con
taining flag hoisting, distribution of cloths among the
poor, blood donation camp and distribution of fruits
among the patients in hospital beds. But we never forget
to recollect the great sacrilicial contributions of the
brave sons of India.
